Californian Christmas

This past weekend my mother and I ventured up to LA, this time bringing my grandmother along too. Christmastime is so nice and lovely, and everything has lights on it and is sparkly and it's great. So we went to Santa Monica, I thought that Georgian hotel was super cute. Then we visited the Grove, which is one of my personal favorite places. It was a great trip. Now, i'm in a post-Christmas haze, missing the comfort of the recently thrown away wrapping paper covering the floors, and cuddling up to my presents. I got a record player as seen above and I am super excited about it. I got everything I didn't even remember I wanted, and I feel grateful to have people who care so much about me. Now back to watching too much TV in an effort to relax to the max while I have time off from school. I wish you all happy holidays.

GLOW // OKTOBERFEST

|GLOW SANTA MONICA|

|OKTOBERFEST SAN DIEGO|

Every 3 years Santa Monica hosts Glow on it's pier, so two weekends ago we made our way to Santa Monica, I went when I was 12, so I was excited to go back. They have art installations that are somewhat interactive and overall lots of hoopla going on. It was amazing.

Oktoberfest was this most recent weekend. It's a fun time, and we can get to it via trolley which makes it easier. I love all sorts of street fairs and art things and that sort of business so these are right up my alley.

i wish i could say more words but i've been so tired
for the past year
basically

i need to start drinking coffee, i am a college lady now

Craigy

ok, those pig cupcakes are cute, right? but don't they totally remind you of that episode of Pretty Little Liars where Hanna had to eat all those cupcakes to get her money back????? yeah.

Okay, so yesterday I went to Los Angeles and saw Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show being filmed! Sadly we had to leave our phones in the car, so i don't have any photos to commemorate this sadly. But it was great, Craig was so so hilarious (but seriously the warm-up "comedian" is literally my least favorite person). Overall it was a super cool experience, and i would definitely do it again 10/10 recommend.
And CBS studios is next door to one of my favorite places in Los Angeles, the Grove.
oh and on the ride home we saw Disneyland's fireworks! it was hella magical.
...
ok can we for a sec talk about how amazing steak is. because i had never ordered steak before, it was so fancy, like expensive steak, it had butter on it! whaaa? and the french fries were fantastic. oh wow, it was like the best meal i've ever eaten. Morels French Steakhouse. Ahhh yes, reminiscing with steak memories.

Another nice thing about the Grove, is it has the closest TopShop.

and of course, good ol' Forever21
(it was a tough choice between back to the future, Cars and Lion King)

Oz was Fantastic

Last weekend I enjoyed a lovely dinner date with my friend, we dressed up and went out. It was great.

The next day I went to LA and saw Oz at the El Capitan, then we went to the grove and I went to TopShop and let me just tell you, it was incredible. I'm hoping to get my prom dress from there.
Ugh, it was brilliant.
And Oz was fantastic.
