This month I am interested in feeling fallish. I want to wear dark lipstick and plaid and loafers and cardigans and I want to crunch leaves and eat pumpkin and salted caramel everything. And more than anything I am begging San Diego to please please please please please cool down (it's been 90+ everyday) I WANT TO WEAR A GOSH DARN CARDIGAN.

ok, those pig cupcakes are cute, right? but don't they totally remind you of that episode of Pretty Little Liars where Hanna had to eat all those cupcakes to get her money back????? yeah. 

Okay, so yesterday I went to Los Angeles and saw Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show being filmed! Sadly we had to leave our phones in the car, so i don't have any photos to commemorate this sadly. But it was great, Craig was so so hilarious (but seriously the warm-up "comedian" is literally my least favorite person). Overall it was a super cool experience, and i would definitely do it again 10/10 recommend.

And CBS studios is next door to one of my favorite places in Los Angeles, the Grove.

oh and on the ride home we saw Disneyland's fireworks! it was hella magical.

ok can we for a sec talk about how amazing steak is. because i had never ordered steak before, it was so fancy, like expensive steak, it had butter on it! whaaa? and the french fries were fantastic. oh wow, it was like the best meal i've ever eaten. Morels French Steakhouse. Ahhh yes, reminiscing with steak memories.

Another nice thing about the Grove, is it has the closest TopShop.

and of course, good ol' Forever21

Bunz

I like wearing my hair in bunz it makes me feel nice and cute and fun. Whoa, who do you think you are??? Miley Cyrus????

wow, actually, i could go on a whole tangent about my love/hate relationship with Miley right now (have you heard Wrecking Ball? It's phenomenal... but have you heard twerk w/ justin bieber because no. but honestly i'll probably still listen to it on the treadmill.. and don't even get me started on the VMAs, i mean we'd had to converse about that i can't even express my thoughts via text)
wow, ok. no. but i do like wearing my hair in buns, which i have recently-ish started doing, along with wearing my hair in braids across my head.
There's something about updos that are just so lovely and romantic and nice. ok, but also sidenote, i have like a bit of hair as you can see in the photo below that is short???? like what happened to you, lil buddies? why are you this way???

I've literally taken so long figuring out this post that i was just like, wait didn't i already have a post named bunz? YES IT WAS THIS ONE LIKE TWO HOURS AGO.

MURDER MYSTERY DINNER THEATRE

I went to Dinner Theatre in Del Mar. It was the best night of my life. 

It was just so so so great. Wow. I loved it.

We all chose fake names, and I chose the name Scout Finch.

It was a murder mystery show, but it was really really funny and the actors were so fantastic. 

Also, I was part of it, and I just knew, i knew that as they were circling around our table, that it would be me they would talk to, just like when you know a teacher is going to call on you. It was like that. Let me just tell you, I started screaming as they pulled out my SENIOR PORTRAIT as one of their clues. Oh my gosh. 

But also they signed it for me.

They were just so good.

Ugh. Take me back.

A Minty Birthday

This past week I passed my exit interview (I get to graduate), I passed an important math test (no summer school!!!!), ate lots of delicious things (donuts, cupcakes and sandwiches), and it was my birthday so i got lovely presents (what! a cat! and pretty other stuff as seen above), and I also started an internship.

I'm 18, which feels so much the same, but now somehow my body is legal. sure, ya'll, whatever you say.

My new lil lady is named Wanda, and she is just so great. 

OH AND I'M GOING TO SEE ONE DIRECTION.
