it's raiiiianinaining! which means nobody goes to class, people drive like maniacs, and everyone basically freaks the frick out and doesn't know what to do. I pulled this cute lil outfit together and was feeling good about myself until I took one step outside and my skirt blew up and my umbrella flipped like it does in the movies and you think that wouldn't really happen but it doesn't and then you almost blow away. But i got to break out my coat and rain boots that I don't get to wear that often in San Diego weather.

Please enjoy these endless bathroom mirror selfies, i'm sorry i can't help myself when there is a full length mirror! That is a magical event that needs to be taken advantage of. Plus there was a lil festive mirror over the sink. Mirrors are great. They are a blogger's best friend, well one who doesn't have the luxury of having someone else to photograph them/ a tripod.

I LOVE THAT LAST PICTURE. wOW. I can't stop singing Honeymoon Avenue by Ariana grande but she has a voice like butter with a range that reaches the moon so my neighbors probably think there is a cat in heat nearby. So I dyed my hair red hence the title. Maybe that's why I'm channeling Ariana Grande. 

I love having my hair red, I mean I love pink I think it'll always be my favorite hair but this was a fun change and feels a little bit more wild instead of the usual girliness I embrace. I've lost every single ounce of my summer tan, geez louise i am looking like Snow White. It also doesn't help that I took these photos at noon, with the sun all up in my business, but I still like the way they turned out.

So I've started Spring Semester of my freshman year of college, and I have never been more ready for summer break in my life... What? It's only been two days? Uh oh. But I think my classes will be ok this semester or maybe horrible, it's hard to tell because teachers may be hiding their inner craziness only to pull it out during midterms and fail you.

Anyways I'm digging this hair, I hope I can get back in the groove of school. Wow hello did we just transport to the 70's when I am pretending those words were relevant. Is that Shaggy of Scooby Doo??! Most hippiest hippie i know.

I need to go before this gets any weirder.

I'm still enjoying Winter Break, but also I'm just really tired all the time so I have to force myself to do things or I sit and read Pretty Little Liars theories online all day.

I'm totally in love with these photos, all the shadows and the lighting is great, which makes up for the awkwardness I had to endure while trying to find somewhere to take them via timer. Nothing is worse than someone coming up right as the timer is about to go off and you have to awkwardly hurry away and look super suspicious and dumb.

I'm sad the holiday season is over. Also confused because it's like 85 degrees here. Geez louise.

Now excuse me while I window shop online and try to soak up the last free time I have before May.

things are a happenin'

I was just doing my own little thing and suddenly it's the middle of November.

Shit.

It's almost Christmas????? Also it's strange because I only have a week of school between Thanksgiving and Christmas break. And I suddenly feel extremely overwhelmed and wow. School is difficult and frustrating. I'm ready for Christmas break but I'm bummed to switch classes because I like a few of them quite a lot. 

But I need a break. I'm ready for a break.

But I don't know if I'm gonna make it to break.

I didn't know one dot of 8 month old brown dye would murder the purple dye and turn all of my freshly blonde hair back to brown. Breathe. Is it too much to ask for perfectly lavender hair??? BREATHE.

but, it was slightly rainy (40% all day and all we got was a half hour drizzle at 8 am) i did get to wear my stellar new boots though. ah yeaaaah.

I love the word elbows. And i love the word walk. They are nice simple words that I can remember. I always used to have these bizarre favorite words I could never remember or spell, but then one day I realized it's okay to like normal nice things. Like pasta. I like that word too.

This is the start of something beautiful w/ my rainboots

i thought of a funny title for this post earlier but i totally forgot it. Story of my life. I have Ed Sheeran stuck in my head. ok. gosh darnit. i had the funniest title, well at least to me, i was like wow i'm gonna be so awesome with that title, so i'm really disappointed now.

i ordered these boots online from Charlotte Russe it was amazing, i absolutely love ordering things online haha its like a fun present when it gets to you. I actually really wanted a pair of rainboots like these, but the pair i had a crush on were waaaaay more expensive, and i found these for a nice price of $20. I very much like them, in case you couldn't tell they are clear, and I am wearing mint socks underneath. They run a bit large, but it's okay, because you pretty much have to wear socks with them, like i tried them on without and it was horrifying. I think they will go rather nicely with my socks from topshop.

Wow i really like them. RAIN SAN DIEGO.
